DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Later this summer and early this fall Old Navy and Sears Hometown stores will be returning to Asbury Plaza in Dubuque.
Sears Hometown will open its doors in an 8,544 square foot space between Pier 1 Imports and Petco.
Shortly after Old Navy will return to its former 20,000 square foot store located between Michaels and Bed, Bath & Beyond.
The arrival of the two stores marks the return of two familiar brands to the Dubuque market.
Sears Hometown stores focus on selling a wide range of nationally branded products, including home appliances, hardware, lawn and garden equipment, tools, household goods, mattresses and fitness equipment.
Old Navy is returning to Dubuque to occupy the same location it vacated in 2012.
In 2013, the Cafaro family of companies purchased a substantial portion of the Asbury Plaza property and began to redevelop the plaza to include new retailers such as Carter’s and Cato Fashions.
The addition of Old Navy and Sears Hometown leaves only one small unit available for lease in the over 136,000 square feet of leasable space at Asbury Plaza.
Located at the intersection of Asbury Road and Iowa Highway 32 (the Northwest Arterial) in Dubuque, the regional power center is about two miles from Cafaro’s Kennedy Mall.
